When an account deletion request is successfully completed, associated personal account data is deleted, except for limited information that may need to be retained for legitimate security, fraud prevention, legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations.

Any retained information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.

9. Account and Data Deletion

You can request permanent deletion of your Food Genius AI account in either of the following ways:

1. Inside the Food Genius AI app: Go to Profile → Delete Account → follow the confirmation steps.
2. From the public website: Visit https://foodgeniusai.com/delete-account.

Account deletion also deletes associated user data where applicable.

You do not need to purchase a subscription or start a trial to request deletion.

Website deletion requests are normally processed within 7 days and may require verification of account ownership.

Deleting a Food Genius AI account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. Google Play subscriptions must be managed separately through Google Play.

10. Children's Privacy

Food Genius AI is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
